Hi, I’m Sarah.
I am an IFS therapist, parts work mentor, writer, yoga teacher, wife, and mother. I specialize in trauma, addictions, and relationships. My mission is to help you access the embodied wisdom of your whole self.
I share essays, musings, and memoirs on parts work and the healing journey on my Substack journal, Whole Self, and Instagram with over 100,000 followers . I have a forthcoming self-help workbook focused on IFS and CPTSD to be published in 2025 with New Harbinger Publications. My work has been featured on podcasts such as Do The Work Podcast and The Reprogrammed Parent and journals such as Parts and Self.
I believe that what your embodied experience and inner world knows deeply matters, and I am honored to walk this path of becoming with you.

My mission is to help you experience the embodied wisdom of your whole self.
I am an IFS therapist, parts work mentor, writer, and post-lineage yoga teacher who specializes in complex trauma, addictions, and relationships. I have a Master’s Degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy and am triply licensed as a LAC, LAMFT, and LCADC. I have extensive experience working with populations recovering from substance use disorders and acute and complex trauma in the private practice, IOP, and residential treatment settings. I am trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy, The Gottman Method, Somatic Attachment Therapy, and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy.
Most importantly, I believe that people heal when they feel seen and understood for their authentic selves and that healing happens in relationship.
My professional background informs my work of holding space beyond my role as a counselor. I am a post-lineage yoga teacher (ERYT-500) who has studied, practiced, and taught kriya and ashtanga yoga under Manju Jois, classical Sanskrit with the American Sanskrit Institute, and Shakta Tantra with Dr. Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Swami Satyasangananda Saraswati. I have been published in academic and literary journals such as Parts and Self and I write regularly for my Substack journal, Whole Self Journal. I have a book focused on CPTSD and IFS forthcoming with New Harbinger Publications.
Most importantly, my creative and embodied practices inform my own journey of healing and process of becoming.
